Cinnamon French Toast


2 eggs

 2/3 cup of milk (I like coconut milk but you can use any)

 2 tsp cinnamon powder

 1 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 tbsp sugar

4 slices of bread 

Fruits of choice to serve


Beat the eggs in a bowl (make sure to use a deep bowl/ plate). Add the milk, cinnamon powder, sugar and vanilla extra. Whisk everything together until mixed well or you notice it starting to foam.

Heat a skillet or a pan, add a tablespoon of butter or oil at medium to medium/high heat. Melt the butter making sure it doesn’t brown.

Take a slice of bread and soak it in the bowl of mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Then carefully place the slice on the pan. Cook each side until nice and golden (approximately 4-6 minutes). Take out the slice and repeat with the rest of the slices.

Plate your slices adding syrup, fruit, nutella or ice cream. I like to sprinkle some more cinnamon powder on top before adding a bit of melted chocolate.
