Assalamo Alaikum,
My name is Fareeha and I am currently in year 9 and I started my GCSEs in September. Personally, for me, the current situation is having a huge impact on my education. I believe this because I feel as though a lot of content and learning is being missed out on through the closure of schools. Although some students have online school and get schoolwork to do at home, they will probably not store the knowledge in their long-term memory and will forget everything easily. Additionally, the situation for GCSE and A-level students is worse because they are going through the anxiety and stress of exam cancellations and their next steps for their future such as; university, college, sixth form etc.
In conclusion, we should pray to Allah the Almighty, wash our hands and keep up to date with Huzoor’s instructions and advise. May Allah keep us all safe from this virus. Ameen
